Mobile Notarization Services: Terms and Conditions

Switch Safe Notary — Terms and Conditions

Effective date:10/16/2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to services and digital products purchased directly from Switch Safe Notary through switchsafenotary.com or another authorized booking or payment channel. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean Switch Safe Notary. “You” means the customer purchasing a product or arranging a service.

1. Services and professional boundaries

Switch Safe Notary provides mobile notary services, loan-signing support, apostille document coordination, and the other services expressly described in your written order.

We are not a law firm and do not provide legal, tax, investment, or lending advice. Purchasing a service or product does not create an attorney-client relationship. A paralegal credential does not authorize independent legal advice.

Customers are responsible for obtaining advice about document selection, legal rights, transaction terms, and the consequences of signing. Questions outside our authorized role must be directed to an attorney, lender, title company, escrow officer, receiving agency, or other appropriate professional.

Notarization does not establish that a document is accurate, legally enforceable, or suitable for its intended purpose.

2. Appointments and signer readiness

An appointment is confirmed when we provide confirmation. Please provide accurate contact information, the appointment location, the number of signers, and a description of the requested service.

Signers must meet applicable identification and personal-appearance requirements and participate willingly. Documents must be ready for the requested service. Do not sign in advance unless instructed, because some notarial acts require signing in the notary’s presence.

Tell us before the appointment about witnesses, accessibility needs, language needs, facility restrictions, or other circumstances that may require advance coordination. We will discuss available arrangements and applicable accommodations.

We cannot complete a notarial act when legal requirements are not satisfied. An appointment or payment does not guarantee that notarization can occur.

3. Prices and payment

We will disclose the agreed service charges before you authorize the service. Notarial fees will comply with applicable California limits. Any separate travel, printing, courier, coordination, or other service charges will be identified separately.

Additional work or expenses require your approval before they are incurred. Payment is due as stated in your written confirmation or invoice.

A charge for an unperformed notarial act will not be retained as though that act was completed. Separately authorized travel or other work already performed may remain payable when permitted by law and disclosed before booking.

4. Cancellations, delays, and refunds for services

Please contact us promptly if you need to cancel, reschedule, or report a delay.

Any cancellation, waiting-time, unsuccessful-visit, or rescheduling charge must be disclosed and accepted before booking. These terms do not create an undisclosed fee.

If we cannot provide the agreed service, we will offer rescheduling or refund payments attributable to services we did not perform. Previously authorized third-party expenses or separately completed work will be itemized and handled according to the agreed terms and applicable law.

If you believe a charge or service is incorrect, contact us using the contact information on your confirmation or invoice. Nothing in these terms limits a payment-dispute right or other remedy available under applicable law.

5. Loan-signing assignments

Our role is to facilitate document execution and perform authorized notarial acts. We do not negotiate loan terms, approve financing, determine the suitability of a transaction, or guarantee funding, recording, or closing.

Questions about interest rates, payments, fees, ownership, cancellation rights, or document discrepancies must be answered by the appropriate transaction professional.

When a lender, title company, escrow company, or signing service hires us, a separate written agreement may govern that assignment. These website terms do not amend an existing vendor agreement or impose payment obligations on a signer who has not agreed to pay us.

6. Apostille and authentication assistance

Our apostille services consist of the document-handling and coordination tasks identified in your order. Apostilles and authentications are issued by the appropriate government authority, not by Switch Safe Notary.

Customers must confirm the receiving country’s and recipient’s requirements, including any translation, certification, or document-age requirements. We can assist with administrative coordination within the agreed scope.

Government processing, shipping estimates, and anticipated completion dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. We do not control government decisions, carrier performance, or acceptance by a foreign recipient. This does not excuse our responsibility for performing our own agreed work.

Government, shipping, and other third-party expenses will be disclosed before authorization. Refunds of those expenses depend on whether they have been incurred and whether they are recoverable, subject to applicable law.

7. Digital products and permitted use

Unless the product listing expressly states otherwise, downloadable planners, calendars, guides, templates, and educational materials are digital products. No physical item will be shipped.

A purchase gives one purchaser a nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the product for personal use and the purchaser’s own professional work. You may print copies reasonably needed for your own use.

You may not share the source file or download link, distribute copies to others, resell the product, upload it to a shared resource collection, or reproduce substantial portions in a competing product without written permission. Uses permitted by applicable law remain unaffected.

A purchase does not transfer ownership of the product’s copyright, branding, artwork, or other intellectual property. Team, classroom, resale, or redistribution permissions require a separate written license.

8. Digital delivery and refunds

Review the product description, covered calendar years, file format, and stated compatibility requirements before purchasing. Provide an accurate delivery email address.

Once a digital product has been delivered or made available for download, change-of-mind refunds are generally unavailable. This does not limit remedies for a defective, materially misdescribed, or undelivered product, or any rights required by law.

If a file is inaccessible, corrupted, incorrect, or materially different from its description, contact us promptly with your order details. We will investigate and provide an appropriate correction, replacement, or refund.

9. Educational materials and calendars

Our materials support education and organization. They do not replace current law, official instructions, professional training, or advice about a particular transaction.

Before relying on a calendar, deadline, example, or calculation, verify its applicability to the transaction using the governing requirements and instructions from the responsible professional. Different legal rules may define business days differently.

Materials apply to the version and period identified in the listing. Future editions or updates are included only when expressly promised. We do not promise certification, licensing eligibility, employment, income, or a particular business result.

10. Respectful and safe service

We expect respectful communication and a reasonably safe working environment. We may pause or end an appointment because of threats, harassment, discriminatory abuse, unsafe conditions, or conduct that prevents lawful and accurate service.

Service decisions will be based on conduct, safety, and applicable legal requirements. We do not deny service unlawfully or withhold legally required accommodations.

Any charges following an interrupted appointment remain subject to the previously disclosed terms and applicable law. Raising a concern or making a complaint does not itself constitute misconduct.

11. Privacy and document handling

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. Provide only information reasonably needed for the requested service and use the document-delivery method arranged with us.

Notarial journals and other legally required records may be subject to retention, inspection, disclosure, or surrender requirements. We cannot promise to delete records that we are legally required to preserve.

12. Responsibility and customer rights

We are responsible for performing our agreed services with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable law. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and decisions that require your own legal, financial, or transaction advice.

We do not guarantee outcomes controlled by lenders, government agencies, receiving institutions, carriers, or other independent parties. This provision does not excuse our own failure to perform an agreed obligation.

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricts nonwaivable consumer rights. Nothing prohibits an honest review, a lawful complaint, or contact with a regulator.

13. Resolving concerns

Please contact us through the contact information published on switchsafenotary.com or shown on your order confirmation so we can review a concern and seek a practical resolution.

Contacting us first is encouraged but is not a condition of exercising a legal right. These terms do not require arbitration or waive access to small claims court or another available forum.

California law governs to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory protections and venue rights applicable to a customer remain in effect.

14. Changes and separate agreements

Updated terms apply prospectively to new purchases or bookings after publication. They do not retroactively change an existing order.

A separate written agreement expressly accepted by both parties controls any conflicting transaction-specific provision, subject to applicable law. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
